Step 6 – Chore Lists
Sorry guys, we had a tiny pause in our 15 day challenge while I was away camping with absolutely no cell service!!! But we are back on track today with chore lists!
This means everyone!
Everyone in my house has a chore list! They have a daily chore list and a weekly chore list!
I like to write down everything that I do on a weekly basis and then split it up over the entire week. These things include
- clean glass
- clean bathrooms
- clean out fridge
- laundry (read my post here on how I do laundry!!!)
- base boards
- window seals
- wash bedding
I try to spread them out evenly to where I am not doing too many things at once (some of these things are also put on my kids lists).
My everyday tasks consist of
- reading bible (this should not be considered a chore, but I write it down so I don’t forget)
- balance check book
- read and respond to emails and Facebook
- make the bed
- empty and load dishwasher
- clean kitchen
- dust floors
- 20 minute pick up
- work on blog
Here are my kids chore lists!!! I just sent them a screen shot to their phone because I know the list will be safe there considering they never put them down.
I also keep everyones chore lists in Cozi and sometimes I have reminders sent to their phones!!!
Here are some printable chore list from my GETTING MY LIFE TOGETHER post, for you to use
Keep in mind, planning ahead is an essential part of being organized…even when it comes to chores!
