DIY Bible Cover
I’ve been working so diligently to create AWESOME pages inside my bible and then I realized, the outside looks so plain.
Some of the girls in my class covered theirs in washi tape, but that wasn’t really what I wanted. I really wanted FABRIC!!! My first thought was to use Mod Podge, but then I had a better idea and it was so much easier then getting that sticky film of glue all over my hands that I end up rolling into sticky glue boogers and wiping on my clothes!
So first you need to gather your supplies…
Hard Cover Journaling Bible…I got mine HERE
Iron On Adhesive…you can get it RIGHT HERE
Some really cute fabric
Washi tape or ribbon that goes with your fabric
Lay out the iron-on adhesive, paper side up, and trace around both sides of your bible leaving a little room on the edges.
Cut out the rectangle that you traced both sides on, and place rough side down onto fabric
Iron adhesive onto the back of your fabric
Trace right around the edge of your bible
Cut the 2 pieces out
Trim around around the edges so that each piece fits on the cover with none hanging over
Peel the paper off the back and place it on your bible
Iron fabric pieces onto bible cover until completely stuck
Add washi tape or ribbon
There you have it!!! A super cute Bible!!!
