Well my baby girl is turning 14 tomorrow!
It is amazing how quickly these years go by and how quickly they grow. Luckily… I decided to stop aging at 29 or I would be old now!!!
It seems like it was not that long ago that I was watching General Hospital and she was having a tea party. She would bring me a little cup of “tea” and I would drink it until it hit me “where is she getting this from?!” So I quietly followed her and…YEP!!! It was coming from the toilet!!! I guess that is what I get for wasting time watching those stupid shows!!!
She has always been a very unique person. She has her own style and she doesn’t care what others think about her. I had the hardest time getting her to brush her teeth when she was younger. I told her “people are going to make fun of you if you have bad breath” she said “they already do”. I said “doesn’t that hurt your feelings?” and her response was “No…I just breathe on them!”
She absolutely AMAZES me with her talent. She is an amazing singer, a wonderful dancer, she is good at all sports, and recently she has taught herself to play the guitar. My husbands says that it comes from him!!!
She can having a raging attitude one minute and then the kindest heart the next. She is daddy’s girl and she is spoiled rotten. We have to visit the school at least once every week because she has forgotten something. Her room always looks like a pig pin. She still sleeps in our room and she is always running late. Half of her closet is in her gym locker and the other half in my car. She is scatterbrained, unorganized and sometimes helpless, yet all of these things make her even more special!
She is also so goofy and makes the craziest faces!!!!
Though sometimes she makes me want to pull my hair out, she is my best friend and we have the best times together!!! I am so blessed to get to be her mom!!!
Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter!!! I love you so very much Paige and I am so proud of the young lady you have grown into!!!
